Job Title:Quality InspectorJob Description:The Role:Our site in Chaska is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our teamAs aQuality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that incoming materials,in-processcomponents, and finished products meet strict quality and customer specifications. You will perform visual andmeasurement-basedinspections, complete process audits, document findings, and partner closely with production teams to resolve discrepancies.This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, enjoy analytical work, and are motivated to grow within ateam-orientedenvironmentHOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 10PM-6AM MONDAY-FRIDAYWhatYou'llDo:Inspect incoming materials,in-processcomponents, and finished products against specifications using visual, mechanical, andmeasurement-basedmethodsPerform measurement tests using tools such as calipers, pin gages, height gages, indicators, micrometers, optical comparators, smart scopes, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)Approve or reject product based on defined criteria; create quality notifications (QN) for nonconformances and document findings thoroughlyCommunicate discrepancies promptly to supervisors and production teams, partnering todetermineroot causes andappropriate nextstepsComplete inspection reports, logs, and digital entries within quality databases and ERP systems such as SAPConduct process audits and perform capability studies to support continuous improvement and process stabilityKeep measurement equipment in good working order by following operation guidelines and reporting repair needsMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by following all standards, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupportcross-functionalteams with data, insights, and collaborative problem solving to drive product and process excellence.Performadditionalduties as needed to support quality, production goals, and customer expectations.What We Seek:High school diploma or GED required.1-3 Years ofquality/inspectionin a manufacturing environmentpreferredAbility to read and understand documented processes and proceduresCompetency in reading blueprints, technical specifications, and inspection documentation.Experienceusing precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gages, dial indicators, optical comparators, smart scopes, and CMM equipmentFamiliarity with SAP, quality systems, or digital inspection tools preferredUnderstanding of statistical process control (SPC), basic chart interpretation, and capability analysisStrong attention to detail and commitment to producinghigh qualityworkWhat We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providingopportunityto our employees and promote from within.
