Reporting Developer

PADNOS is a full-service recycling company handling paper, plastic, metals and electronic recycling. We tailor recycling programs for consumer and industrial clients throughout the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Reporting Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using Tableau and SSRS. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. You will report directly to IT Manager, at PADNOS Corporate in Grandville, MI. This is an in-person role based in Grandville, Michigan. Must reside within daily commuting distance of Grandville, Michigan. We do not relocate, sponsor visas, or consider remote applicants. Accountabilities Develop, design, test, and document dashboards and reports using Tableau and SSRS Maintain and update existing reports and dashboards Create and write performant SQL queries for reporting and analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions Pair with functional users to ensure business logic is appropriately represented in the analysis of data Optimize report performance and data quality Provide technical support and training to users Stay up to date with Tableau latest features and capabilities Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Hybrid role Qualifications Strong understanding of visual and paginated reporting tools (Tableau preferred) Portfolio of work (Tableau Public, GitHub, etc.) or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Solid understanding of SQL, including window functions and common table expressions Ability to work as a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage time effectively Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing preferred Excellent problem-solving and analytics skills Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and ability to tell stories with data Tableau certification nice to have PADNOS has a rich history of taking care of our Team Members, their families and the multiple communities we serve.
