Full Stack Developer – React / Next.jsWe are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our client’s technology team. This is a contract to hire hands-on role with an approximately 50/50 frontend and backend development split, with a strong focus on React, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.The ideal candidate has experience building scalable, production-grade applications and is comfortable owning projects from technical design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform system analysis and design for new applications and enhancements to existing systems.Build and maintain core services supporting authentication, data privacy, AI infrastructure, and internal tooling.Own projects from technical design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and relational databases.Build user-facing applications using React and Next.js.Develop backend services using Python/FastAPI and Node/Express.Build and integrate authentication, authorization, and rate-limiting functionality.Design and enhance REST APIs, shared libraries, and platform tooling.Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes/GKE.Support CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions and Cloud Build.Partner with Product, Data, and Operations teams to deliver reliable and scalable systems.Improve system reliability, observability, performance, and production troubleshooting.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.Adhere to applicable safety and environmental policies and regulations.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent IT experience.5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience.Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.Experience building scalable, production-grade web applications and backend services.Experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, and SOAP web services, including development and integration.Experience deploying and maintaining applications in AWS.Experience with observability, reliability, performance optimization, and production debugging.Ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal direction.Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.Experience with logistics, WMS, and/or manufacturing environments is a plus.Core CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.Structured programming and unit testing experience.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Understanding of Quality Assurance processes and best practices.System performance tuning and optimization.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Adaptable and receptive to new technologies, ideas, and changing environments.Commitment to continuous learning and keeping technical skills current.Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.Additional DetailsContract-to-hire opportunity.Onsite position.Monday–Friday, first shift.
