IT PMO & Commercial Contracts LeaderLocation: Waukesha, WIWork Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hybrid/Onsite) | 1st shiftWe are seeking an experienced IT PMO & Contracts Leader to drive successful IT project delivery while ensuring strong contract governance and vendor partnership management. This role sits at the intersection of project management, PMO leadership, and IT contract oversight, playing a critical role in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.As a trusted partner to IT, Legal, Sourcing, and business leaders, you will manage IT contracts from review through execution, while also leading projects and reinforcing consistent PMO practices. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys managing complexity, improving processes, and delivering results in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee IT contracts to ensure alignment with company goals, compliance standards, and industry best practicesReview, edit, and manage contracts with internal and external IT suppliersServe as a key advisor to IT, Sourcing, and Legal during purchasing activities and contract negotiationsReview and validate Statements of Work (SOWs), Quotes, and pricing documents to ensure scope, cost, and business requirements are metAct as the primary point of contact between the organization, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholdersManage multiple IT projects simultaneously, overseeing timelines, budgets, risks, and qualityLead PMO activities and partner with leadership to establish and maintain consistent project management practicesAssign and delegate project tasks to ensure efficient execution and deliveryMeet with business leaders and users to discuss both operational and contractual mattersIdentify opportunities to improve business processes and lead implementation of practical solutionsBuild and maintain strong working relationships to ensure stakeholder needs are metRequired Education & Must‑Have ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (Equivalent experience will be considered)Required Experience (Must Have)Must have 3-5+ years of PMO or Project Management experience, including ownership of timelines, budgets, risk management, and delivery governance3-5+ years of direct experience managing IT contracts, including hands‑on work with:Statements of Work (SOWs)Quotes and pricing documentationSupplier and vendor agreementsProven experience partnering with IT, Legal, and Sourcing/Procurement teamsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and contracts with shifting prioritiesPreferred Experience5+ years of experience in IT, Sourcing, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience supporting or building PMO frameworks, standards, or governance modelsFamiliarity with IT software, hardware, and services procurementKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesSolid understanding of legal terminology and contract governance principlesStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential informationCreative problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft OfficeWhy Join UsHigh‑visibility role with influence across IT, contracts, and enterprise projectsOpportunity to shape PMO standards and improve operational effectivenessCollaborative culture with cross‑functional impactMeaningful work supporting strategic business initiativesProlec-GE Vernova, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status, or any other reason prohibited by applicable law.
