While you'll have a primary shift, we'llwork with you to accommodate your availability and preferences wheneverpossible. To help you plan ahead, your Training Manager will provide yourschedule at least three weeks in advance. Flexibility to work on anadditional shift may be needed to support new hire onboarding, meetoperational demands, and ensure a full 40-hour work week. We believe thisapproach provides a predictable schedule while also allowing us to respondto the ever-changing needs of our business.How You Will Make An ImpactThe Ops Trainer understands all training materials, conducts training inmultiple areas as needed, coaches new team members, initiatescross-training with guidance from leadership, and trains team members onnew processes while reinforcing safe work practices. The Ops Trainer alsoplays an active role in partnering with the Training Manager to assesstraining needs and suggest new learning solutions. You will thrive in thisposition if you are open to giving and receiving constructive feedback andcommitted to training team members and setting them up for success in theirrole.In This Role You’ll Get To Welcome new team members, establish rapport, and introduce ThredUp’sculture, work environment and team. Drive engagement and retention of team members through deliveringeffective and innovative training processes. Administer on-station, classroom, quality, and safety training to newand existing team members. Facilitate all training content and initiatives provided by theOperations Training Team and partner to recommend effective, engaginglearning solutions. Establish strong partnerships with Ops leaders across all shifts,supporting the training needs of all teams in the DC. Act as a go-to expert, consistently follow-up with trainee(s), answeringquestions and building rapport. Assess and monitor the performance results on all trainees, providingcoaching and ongoing feedback to improve performance. Work with the Training Manager to determine daily/weekly trainingschedules across all shifts.What We’re Looking For Solid understanding of ThredUp quality standards and operationsprocesses (internal only). Strong communicator and facilitator with strong written, verbal andinterpersonal communication skills. Flexibility in work schedule, open to supporting team members acrossmultiple shifts depending on the needs of the business. Demonstrates effective organizational skills. Enthusiastic about the development and training of all team members. Experience giving and receiving constructive feedback and proactivelyfollowing-up with team members, peers, and leaders. Role models good, independent judgment and operates with minimalsupervision. Ability to create and maintain professional connections with teammembers. Keep business and customer information confidential.
