Cnc Mill Machinist

CNC Mill OperatorWe are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our team. This role involves working with 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines, ensuring the production of high-quality components in a temperature-controlled environment.ResponsibilitiesStudy blueprints, sketches, and customer specifications to properly set up and operate both conventional and CNC machines.Select, align, secure, and compensate cutting tools and materials on machines, and make minor edits as necessary.Create minor programs when needed to ensure accurate machining.Start and observe machines to detect any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.Complete daily production and conformance paperwork.Meet production and quality standards consistently.Communicate effectively with team members, share knowledge, and train teammates as needed.Organize, maintain, and clean the work area according to housekeeping standards.Perform related tasks as directed by the supervisor.Essential SkillsExperience with 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machine operations.Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.Knowledge of operating inspection tools to ensure quality and conformance.Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsTroubleshooting skills in milling and machine operations.Experience with grinding and machine operation.Familiarity with CNC mill programming.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where you can grow your skills in a supportive environment. This environment supports collaboration and continuous improvement in machine operations.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
