Sr. IT Project Manager - RPA

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives across our insurance operations. This role sits at the intersection of technology, process optimization, and business transformation — helping us streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance customer and employee experiences.You’ll manage end‑to‑end RPA project delivery, partner with business and technical teams, and ensure automation solutions align with regulatory and operational requirements unique to the insurance industry.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryLead full lifecycle management of RPA projects from intake and scoping to deployment and post‑implementation supportDevelop project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategiesCoordinate cross‑functional teams including business SMEs, developers, QA testers, and operationsEnsure projects meet scope, budget, and quality expectationsBusiness & Process AnalysisPartner with underwriting, claims, policy administration, finance, and customer service teams to identify automation opportunitiesFacilitate process discovery sessions and document current‑state and future‑state workflowsEvaluate automation feasibility and prioritize use cases based on ROI, complexity, and business valueTechnical CoordinationWork closely with RPA developers and architects to translate business requirements into technical specificationsOversee solution design reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activitiesEnsure adherence to automation standards, security protocols, and compliance requirementsGovernance & ComplianceMaintain project documentation, risk logs, and audit‑ready artifactsSupport governance processes including change control, exception handling, and bot performance monitoringEnsure automations comply with insurance regulations, data privacy requirements, and internal controlsStakeholder EngagementCommunicate project updates, milestones, and risks to leadership and business partnersManage expectations and build strong relationships across technical and operational teamsProvide training and adoption support for new automated workflowsRequired Qualifications5+ years of IT project management experience, ideally within insurance or financial servicesHands‑on experience managing RPA initiatives (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar)Strong understanding of insurance operations (claims, underwriting, policy servicing, billing, etc.)Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex technology projectsExperience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologiesExcellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
