Job Overview
The Labor Resources Manager plays a key role in supporting successful project execution by overseeing the planning, coordination, and deployment of field labor for our framing and siding construction operations across North Idaho and Washington. This position partners closely with Project Managers, field supervisors, and company leadership to ensure crews are properly staffed, trained, and supported. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to building strong teams and driving efficient, productive job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, dispatch, and allocate framing and siding crews to jobsites throughout North Idaho and Washington
Coordinate daily and weekly manpower needs with Project Managers and field supervisors
Proactively anticipate future labor requirements by collaborating with Project Managers on schedules and upcoming work
Visit jobsites weekly to evaluate current staffing levels, productivity, and upcoming labor needs
Conduct employee performance reviews and support ongoing workforce development
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees
Coordinate employee training, certifications, and skill development initiatives
Review and approve employee hours weekly prior to payroll processing
Maintain clear, consistent communication between field crews and office management
Attend and actively participate in weekly management meetings
Support additional operational tasks as needed to help the company succeed
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in construction labor management, preferably in framing, siding, or related trades
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Experience with construction management software; Procore experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel regularly to job sites
Work Schedule
40–45 hours per week, primarily weekdays
Flexibility as needed to support project demands
Compensation
Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience
