Remote Software Engineer, Platform Operations

Role OverviewA Software Engineer in Platform Operations will design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that enables reliable deployment and scaling of services in a cloud-native environment.Responsibilities IncludeDeveloping Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for secure and scalable operations.Leading platform modernization and migration initiatives.Managing cloud infrastructure, especially Kubernetes clusters.Enhancing observability with tools like Grafana to meet operational standards.Improving core systems such as API gateways and managed infrastructure.Collaborating with engineering teams to improve developer experience.Qualifications & Skills4+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration.Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.Experience with CI/CD tools, Terraform, GitOps, and programming in Go or Python.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.Optional but advantageous: experience with open-source infrastructure, large-scale resilient systems, and networking.This remote role emphasizes security, scalability, and operational reliability, supporting internal teams to deliver robust services.
