Location: Louisville, Kentucky Type: Direct Hire Job Surgical Assistant / Private Practice We are seeking a qualified Surgical Assistant for an immediate opening in Louisville, KY! Our multi-location Dental Specialist team is looking for a detail oriented Dental/Surgical assistant to provide hands on support to our oral surgeons and superior patient care. This Assistant will work with oral surgeons and periodontists in clinical situations where oral surgery is frequently performed. Surgical Assistant / Private Practice Responsibilities Aids the surgeon in performing his or her duties Works closely with the patient to make the procedure as comfortable and safe as possible. Help prepare and sterilize all necessary instruments for the surgeon or dentist. Maintain a clean, inviting, and organized work area and facility. Assists the doctor during surgical procedures, Makes note of any specific instructions or procedures to be communicated to the patient during or after the surgery.
