Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRegistered Nurse - CVOR/n/nJob Details:/n• Work Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with the Heart team/n• Clock in at 5:45 AM for 7:00 AM heart cases, clock out at 2:15 PM/n• Clock in at 6:40 AM for 8:15 AM heart cases, clock out at 3:10 PM/n• Required to take weekday call 1-2 times per week, staying until cases are finished/n• Weekend call required 1-2 times per 6-week schedule from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM/n• Must live within 30-40 minutes of facility for call responsibilities/n• Team rarely gets called in on weekends/n• Average of at least 2 cases per day/n• 6-week scheduling rotation/n• Must have cardiothoracic experience required/n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required/n• Travel experience required/n• Valid PA license or Compact license required/n• BLS certification required/n• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing/n• 15-panel drug screen required within 24-48 hours of signing/n• 10 hours of orientation provided/n• Patient ratio of 1:1/n• May be required to float to other sister facilities within 10-mile radius/n• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics/n• Work with 10 operating rooms/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac surgery program with a dedicated Heart team consisting of 3 registered nurses. The facility operates multiple sister locations within a 10-mile radius and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
