QA Test Engineer

Overview In this role you will design, execute, and maintain functional and regression test coverage for web applications within an Agile environment. You will develop and enhance automated test solutions and translate requirements into test cases and scenarios. You will perform manual and automated testing, validate data with SQL, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality. ResponsibilitiesDesign, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and sprint-level test coverage for web applicationsDevelop and enhance automated test solutions using established automation frameworksTranslate business requirements and acceptance criteria into detailed test cases and test scenariosPerform manual and automated testing to validate new features, enhancements, and defect fixesExecute back-end data validation using SQL queries to verify application functionality and data integrityIdentify, document, and track software defects through resolution and retestingCollaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to support quality throughout the SDLCParticipate in sprint planning, test strategy discussions, and release readiness activitiesUtilize version control tools such as GitHub to manage and review test assetsSupport CI/CD processes by integrating automated testing into deployment pipelinesAnalyze application logs and troubleshoot issues using ELK stackLeverage AI-assisted development tools to improve test automation efficiency and consistency Key requirementsBachelor's degree level education in a related field or equivalent2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or quality engineeringExperience developing and executing automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworksExperience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologiesExperience with GitHub or other version control platformsBasic experience with ELK or similar logging and monitoring toolsKnowledge of Agile/Scrum software development practicesWorking knowledge of SQL and database validation techniquesUnderstanding of CI/CD tools and automated testing integrationFamiliarity with API testing and web application QA best practicesProficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or other OO languagesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillscollaborationproblem-solvingeffective communicationPlaywrightSeleniumBDD
