Summary GAMCO Corporation, a leader in the fenestration industry specializing in windows, doors, and architectural systems, is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Team Lead to join our expanding team. This position is ideal for a hands-on sales professional who thrives in the field—building relationships, visiting job sites, and driving results—while also supporting and guiding a small sales team toward success. You’ll play a vital role in growing our customer base and helping shape the future of GAMCO’s presence in the construction market. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across assigned territories. Conduct in-person sales visits and product demonstrations to showcase the value of GAMCO’s solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calls, and networking within the construction and manufacturing industries. Manage both new and existing accounts, ensuring consistent communication and customer satisfaction. Reconnect with inactive or lost accounts to re-establish partnerships. Travel to companies, distributors, and job sites to meet decision-makers and support project needs. Gather market feedback to assess opportunities, trends, and customer requirements. Troubleshoot customer issues via phone, email, or on-site support. Provide market insights and competitive analysis to help the inside sales team position products effectively. Track sales metrics, review reports, and provide coaching and performance feedback to inside sales representatives. Conduct regular check-ins and meetings to maintain progress and accountability. Communicate company updates, product launches, and industry developments to your team and customers. Requirements 3–5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or building materials (windows, doors, or glazing industry a plus). Proven success in territory management, client relationship building, and closing deals in a B2B environment. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience providing sales guidance or mentoring to other team members is a plus. Self-starter with a hands-on approach—comfortable working independently in the field. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts. Knowledge of construction processes, architectural products, or project-based sales preferred.
