About the Opportunity
As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you will contribute to process development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and standards while developing foundational expertise in manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities
Review print revisions, purchase orders and other customer documentation upon receipt
Ballooning drawings and supporting documents to create Inspection Method Sheets
Review and scanning of technical documentation and work orders
Create marking instructions as required
This position is responsible for the flow-down of Quality documentation to ensure the timely execution of Development and Production customer product.
Use customer portals to verify quality requirements, request and save drawings and supporting documentation, and entering quote data
Utilize ERP system to enter delivery and costing data
Utilize ERP system to print work orders
Inspect receive incoming product from suppliers
Interact with Account Managers, Engineering, and Inspection to ensure requirements are complete
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Meticulous and able to work in an environment requiring attention to detail and follow-up
Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Solid PC skills including MS Excel and Word
Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-based environment
Able to report to work on time and fulfill the hours of the position.
Able to stay on task during required hours
Must be self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to understand and read basic blueprint requirements (i.e. notes, dimension lines, section views, symbols, etc.)
Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance function
Attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer .
