This role requires strong communication skills, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively with students and staff both in and outside the classroom.Assist in instruction and fulfillment of IEP mandatesImplement established behavior plan(s)Assist teacher to implement and monitor individual lesson plans, data collection and charting systemsAssist in conducting classroom activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of needAssist with routine classroom functionsMaintain strict confidentialityAssist with home-school communicationAssist with all required paperwork to be completedAdheres to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and RespectAdheres to the Summit Center employment policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to dress code, attendance and punctuality, and Paid Time OffEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:* High school diploma or equivalent* Minimum or 6 months of childcare experienceAt The Summit Center, you'll be part of a compassionate, highly trained team committed to empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
