Sports Social Media Content ProducerLocation: Remote – European UnionEmployment Type: [Contract / Freelance]Apply HEREAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Sports Social Media Content Producer to create and deliver engaging digital content across a variety of sports and entertainment projects. This role will focus on ideating, producing, editing, and publishing social-first content designed to grow audiences, increase engagement, and support live event coverage across multiple platforms.The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about sports, understands internet culture and social trends, and thrives in fast-paced production environments. This person should be comfortable creating content independently while collaborating closely with production and creative teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, edit, and publish engaging social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.Produce real-time content during live sporting events, broadcasts, and productions.Develop creative concepts, short-form videos, graphics, captions, and storytelling ideas tailored for digital audiences.Capture and edit video content for highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, and promotional campaigns.Collaborate with producers, talent, editors, and teams to execute social media strategies and campaigns.Monitor social trends, sports news, platform updates, and audience behavior to identify content opportunities.Optimize content for platform-specific best practices and audience engagement.Assist with content calendars, scheduling, analytics, and performance reporting.Maintain brand consistency and high production quality across all published content.QualificationsExperience producing social media or digital content within sports, media, entertainment, or live event industries preferred.Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement strategies.Proficiency in video editing and content creation tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Canva, Photoshop, or similar platforms preferred.Experience creating short-form vertical video content strongly preferred.Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on live sports and production schedules.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.French or Spanish language skills are preferred, but not required.What We’re Looking ForPassion for sports, storytelling, and digital content creation.Strong creative instincts and attention to detail.Ability to adapt quickly in fast-moving environments.Collaborative mindset with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.Deep understanding of sports culture, fan engagement, and social media trends.Work EnvironmentThis is a remote role open to candidates located within the European Union.
