DevOps / SRE EngineerLocation: Foster City CA (Onsite - Hybrid)Duration: 12+ MonthsMust be localJob Description and Responsibilities8+ years' experience in Site Reliability or Production Engineering group for high availability/critical platforms/applicationsGIT experience highly desired and experience in SCM (Source Control Management) toolsExtensive experience in Unix/Linux administration and Bash ScriptingAdvanced level expertise in one or more scripting languages, such as Python (preferred), JavaScript (preferred), RubyExperience with Configuration Management automation tools like Chef & Ansible (preferred)Experience in automating release and build processesExpert knowledge in CI/CD and hands on implementation experience (ex: Jenkins)Hands on experience with container related technologies like Docker, KubernetesHands on experience on how to monitor software and Infrastructure and its related tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and ELKLive in terminal and ability to script/debug in Shell/PowerShellWorking knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including creating and running queries [MySQL and NOSQL]Working knowledge of web/middleware servers like Nginx and TomcatExperience with configuration management tools such as Chef/AnsibleExperience of working with ITIL disciplines (Event, Incident, Problem, and Change)Experience with Java Spring Boot environments with sound knowledge of Webservers, Application Servers, Client-Server Architectures and MicroservicesExperience with Repository Management systems like Artifactory, NexusComplete understanding of the software development life-cycle and agile software development methodologiesExperience in administration of Atlassian tools like Wiki, Jira, etc.
