Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out or get a check-up – we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.Your ImpactThe primary purpose of this role is to oversee all resets and packet information for Lowe's stores and works on small straight forward to large and complex services/project to meet the needs of Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, and Field Support teams. This includes responsibility for gathering and analyzing service/project specific information and communicating with the appropriate service/project execution resource (i.e. Internal Product Service Associates, Independent Third Party In-Store Service Groups). This role is responsible for not only program and project support, but also for the execution and operational efficiency of these programs and projects.What You Will DoDevelops and provides instructions to Store Operations for Merchandising product resets and corporate projects, translating merchant intent into execution in the field. Coordinates the writing of project details and delivery through written communications, conference calls, and meetingsWorks cross functionally with Merchandising Operations, Store Operations, and Merchandising to ensure project details and service expectations are consistent across all service and project activities, and to connect the field and merchant points of viewConsults with Visual Presentation Managers and Project Leads regarding resets, providing subject matter expertise regarding the planning and communication needs of resets and the Store Operations teamUtilizes and manages large sets of data including store lists, labor capacity, budgets, inventory, etc. to ensure key stakeholders are prepared and informed for deploymentProvides planning and execution expectations, work plans, data sets, and communication consistently to drive project and program completionSupplies estimates of labor, scheduling of labor, and developing the scope of work to the deployment team and other analysts where neededCommunicates with vendors and employees in the field through all phases of the project to coordinate the execution of resetsReviews the communications with the Labor Source team before, during, and after resets to identify miscommunications, misunderstandings, and other risks to address the isssues and develop mitigation and resolution plans to improve future executionAnalyzes past projects to check for quality of planograms, information accessibility, etc. and works upfront with Merchandising Operations and other internal groups to provide proactive solutionsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree Business Administration, Project Planning, Retailing, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable3 Years Experience in Merchandising, Project Planning, Retail Stores, or Consulting environment in lieu of degree1 Year Experience in process development, strategy development, project management, or related areaExperience working with project teams and working cross-functionallyExperience data management and utilization (i.e. in excel)Demonstrated proficiency in communication and professional writingPreferred Skills/EducationExperience working with 3rd party vendorsExperience in planogramming, space management, and/or technical writingExperience in continuous improvement methodology (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean)About Lowe’sLowe’s Companies, Inc.
