Investigates problems, performs corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment, prepares reagents, instructs students and new employees, and performs data entry and interpretation of test results.?Performs various laboratory diagnostic tests on patient specimens.Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the operation and principles of departmental instrumentation.Accurately interprets and reports laboratory test results.Communicates effectively with physicians, nursing staff, co-workers and other organizational staff.Observes and follows established departmental environment of care and safety protocols and practices.Attends departmental, organizational and continuing education meetings.Performs other duties as assigned.What Sets BRG Apart:At Baton Rouge General we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
