Hematology/Oncology opening in New York Located in Herkimer, NY - just 66 miles from Syracuse & 82 miles from Albany! Full-time, permanent opening Employed position Joining an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC).Hematologist/Oncologist needed to join this integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. This Cancer Program has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947. The program is also a member of the ECOG-ACRIN with close to 30 years of participation in NCI and sponsored clinical trials. The program has a collaborative and multidisciplinary model, which includes onsite Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Pathologists and Radiologists.
