Facility in Ketchikan, AK seeking Oncology locums coverageRates: $475/hrOpportunity HighlightsStart Date: June 1, 2026.Schedule: In-Person: 5 days per month (8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM).Remote: 1-hour telehealth conference every Thursday.Ad Hoc: Telehealth clinics and intermittent staff messaging support as needed.Work-Life Balance: No call, no rounding, and no admissions.EMR: EPIC (Proficient users only).Clinical Setting & WorkflowThe oncologist will operate in an outpatient setting within a Critical Access Hospital (Level IV Trauma Center), serving the adult and geriatric population of Southeast Alaska.Patient Volume: 1216 patients per day during in-person clinic weeks.Scope of Practice: Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Infusion center oversight.Solo Practice: The provider will work solo in the oncology department but remains integrated with the broader hospital staff.Clinical Activity: Must provide case logs from the last 24 months demonstrating active practice in Hematology/Oncology.Provider RequirementsBoard Status: Board Certified in Medical Oncology (Required).Licensure: Active Alaska (AK) Medical License and active AK DEA must be in hand at the time of presentation.Certifications: Active BLS (AHA or ARC only).Experience: Must be a proficient Epic user.About WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparent
