Job Description:Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python, React, SQL Server)Position Summary:Client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and data solutions that drive business value across the organization.This role combines expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Python-based services and APIs, and React-based user interfaces to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions.The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who is equally comfortable developing backend services, designing database solutions, and building modern web applications.They will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders to create innovative solutions while adhering to enterprise engineering standards.Key Responsibilities:Application Development:Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React.Build scalable and secure REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.Participate in technical design reviews and architectural discussions.Database Development:Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, schemas, stored procedures, views, and queries.Analyze and improve application performance through database optimization and tuning.Develop and maintain data models that support business and reporting requirements.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.Solution Delivery:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.Contribute to solution documentation, operational readiness, and production support activities.Quality and Operational Excellence:Develop automated testing and monitoring capabilities.Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.Follow secure coding practices and software development standards.Continuously identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.5 plus years of software development experience.Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and database design.Strong proficiency in Python development.Experience developing modern web applications using React.Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.Experience working within Agile development environments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration patterns.Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent source control platforms.Experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks.Exposure to AI/ML solutions and modern data platforms.Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.Technical Skills:Backend:PythonFastAPI, Flask, or comparable frameworksREST API developmentMicroservices architectureFrontend:ReactTypeScript/JavaScriptHTML5/CSS3Modern UI component librariesDatabase:Microsoft SQL ServerT-SQLDatabase design and modelingQuery optimization and performance tuningDevOps & Delivery:GitCI/CD pipelinesAutomated testingContainerization technologies
