Dishwasher

DishwasherThis position requires the dishwasher to work in a fast-paced environment and help maintain a clean kitchen and dish area by properly washing, stocking, and sorting dishes and kitchen equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities: Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized. Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks. Maintains clean/dry floors throughout the shift. Properly washes, stacks, and stores China, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers. Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions. Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans, boxes and rinsing garbage cans. at the end of each shift. Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves. Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties. Assists other duties set forth or as needed. Attends and satisfactorily completes all required training as assigned and required. Education and/or experience: High School Diploma preferred with the ability to work a flexible schedule (late shifts, weekends, or holidays). Must be at least 17 or older. Requirements and skills: Food handler certificate required. Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish.
