Associate Attorney
OverviewOur client, a growing multi-state law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to support its Pennsylvania practice with a focus on foreclosure and collections litigation. This newly created role is driven by increasing case volume and changes in Berks County court procedures requiring consistent local courtroom presence.This is a hybrid position based in Berks County, combining in-person court appearances (a few times per month) with primarily remote work. The attorney will serve as local counsel for hearings while also contributing to the broader practice when not in court. The firm offers a collaborative environment, no billable hour requirements, and strong growth potential.ResponsibilitiesHandle in-person hearings and motions in Berks County and nearby jurisdictionsRepresent the firm in both routine and occasionally contested mattersManage a high-volume caseload of foreclosure and/or collections casesDraft and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, and related legal documentsProvide remote legal support to the Pennsylvania team outside of courtCollaborate with attorneys and staff across PA, NJ, and remote teamsCommunicate case updates and strategy effectively with clientsSupport litigation strategy and ensure timely case progressionTrack and manage workflow using internal systemsRequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive Pennsylvania Bar admission (required)2–5 years of litigation experiencePrior courtroom/hearing experience requiredAbility to independently manage workload in a remote environmentStrong organizational, communication, and analytical skillsPreferred:Experience in foreclosure, collections, creditor’s rights, real estate, title, or small claims mattersFamiliarity with Berks County courtsIdeal CandidateConfident and professional in court, with strong presentation skillsThrives in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environmentSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently and remotelyHighly organized, with systems to track productivity and deadlinesMature, reliable, and capable of representing the firm autonomouslyInterested in long-term growth within a scaling, multi-state practice#LI-JK1
