Senior Computer Vision Engineer

This is especially for industries like energy & utilities, renewables, public infrastructure, telecoms and aviation.They currently have a team of around 6+, likely to be around 8-10 upon joining. You’d be reporting to their Computer Vision Lead.The PlatformThe team are building an end-to-end insights platform that lets enterprises take control of their Operations and Maintenance decisions.So at the start of the workflow, they have computer vision detection and classification models for inventory, so they can reduce inspection times by finding defects without the need of human manual workThe user can quickly review images and data, and approve auto-generated work orders. They can then approve and submit them, and add any necessary attachments if they need toThey’ve also incorporated NLP and LLMs is their smart search system- so businesses have a database at their disposal to search for critical asset dataThe RoleYou’ll be designing, developing and deploying computer vision models across detection, segmentation and recognitionYou’ll also be deploying those models on cloudOn the data side, you’d be working on data handling, processing and annotationExploring new technologies and researchRequirements5+ years of computer vision experience (CNNs, RNNs, VAEs, GANs, Transformers, etc.)Expertise in Python (C++ an added bonus)Good understanding of data handling, processing and annotationExcellent communicationGood problem solving and analytical skills Big Cloud is a data science, machine learning and AI recruiting firm.
