Position OverviewHumane Action Pennsylvania has a need for a passionate and talented photographer to volunteer their skills to take photos of events and action photos for campaigns, marketing, and our website.Purpose of the PositionAllow HAP to put its best foot forward visuallyEducate HAP members on local, state, and federal issues pertaining to animal and environmental welfareDocument important events and other special occasionsDuties and ResponsibilitiesAttend and capture all HAP major events (around 10 per year) and some smaller meetings and get-togethers.Provide digital files of photos to HAP staff in a timely mannerGive feedback on ways we could utilize photography to further our missionTake photos of people, places, merchandise, and other things as needed for specific campaign materialsTraining RequirementsHAP staff will provide the training necessary for this position. Training will be done over Zoom and will take no more than 1 hourSkills and QualificationsPhotography experience and equipmentExcellent communication skillsThe ability work independentlyBasic computer literacyAble to work in in a friendly, professional and non-partisan mannerSelf-motivatedAbility to meet deadlines*If you have Videographer skills we are also looking for a person for that role.
