Physician Assistant/Nurse PractitionerIn a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Scope of practice will encompass: Expert clinical practice Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers Research Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems) Serves on call and weekend rotations as required. Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health or Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/Masters in Nursing. Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Hold a valid, current New Jersey license. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field. Skills: Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. BCLS & ACLS certification. Salary: Minimum new grad base salary $126,200 K. Salary commensurate with years of experience as an NP/PA. Generous w RVU production incentive. Ability to earn up to 5% quality incentive.
