This role is responsible for supervising field operations related to grading, concrete roadbase installation, curb and sidewalk work, and asphalt pavement placement.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who understands NYC site operations, can coordinate crews and equipment efficiently, and ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. When you join Perfetto Enterprises, you're not just working on projects—you’re helping shape the foundation of New York City.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Supervise and coordinate daily field operations for grading, concrete roadbase installation, and asphalt paving projectsLead and manage crews performing curb, sidewalk, roadway, and pavement constructionInterpret project plans, specifications, and layout drawings to ensure work is completed accuratelyCoordinate equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and workflowOversee site preparation, grading, and compaction activities prior to concrete and asphalt placementEnsure proper installation of concrete forms, roadbase materials, and asphalt pavementMonitor jobsite safety and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policiesConduct daily planning and communicate schedules, tasks, and expectations with crewsMaintain jobsite organization, quality control, and efficient material useReport project progress, issues, and material needs to project managers and superintendentsAssist with problem-solving and adjustments to maintain schedules and meet project deadlinesQualifications Required5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or roadway constructionProven experience supervising crews performing grading, concrete roadbase, and asphalt pavingStrong knowledge of NYC construction practices and safety regulationsAbility to read and interpret construction plans, layout drawings, and grade stakesStrong leadership and communication skills to manage crews effectivelyOSHA 10 Certification or willingness to obtainPreferredOSHA 30 CertificationExperience working on union or public infrastructure projectsKnowledge of NYC DOT standards and roadway construction practicesExperience coordinating multiple trades and heavy equipment operatorsAdditional SkillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple jobsite tasks while maintaining safety and quality standardsDependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in physically demanding environmentsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsBenefits – Why Join Perfetto Enterprises Co Inc?
