Full Stack Software DeveloperInabia is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with deep expertise in Python/FastAPI and ReactJS to design, build, and maintain mission-critical applications supporting a federal program. This is a stable, long-term 2-year hybrid contract role based in Washington, DC. An active U.S. security clearance is required at the time of application — no interim or prospective clearance candidates will be considered.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python/FastAPI on the backend and ReactJS on the frontendBuild and maintain RESTful APIs with proper validation, error handling, versioning, and documentationManage PostgreSQL data models, schema design, and database migrationsContainerize applications using Docker and support deployment to AWSWork within AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC) to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud-hosted applicationsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectivesWrite automated tests and maintain strong test coverage across backend and frontend codebasesCollaborate with cross-functional program teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable software solutionsKey QualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredActive security clearance required at time of application (no interim or eligibility-only candidates)Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPIDemonstrated experience with ReactJSStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL including schema design and migrationsExperience with Docker and containerized application developmentProven experience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC)Experience designing and developing RESTful APIsAgile/Scrum development experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with KubernetesFamiliarity with AWS Lambda, ECS, or EKSCI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins or GitHub ActionsInfrastructure-as-Code experience with TerraformKnowledge of OAuth2 and JWT authentication patternsExperience with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest or JestPrior experience supporting Federal Government projectsKnowledge of NIST/FISMA security standards and compliance requirements
