Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer III to play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in manufacturing processes for military and aerospace systems. In this position, you will be responsible for risk analysis, control plans, inspection, supplier quality, and metrology activities — all critical to delivering components used in land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems.
If you have experience with manufacturing quality assurance, nonconforming product resolution, and audit management using tools such as FAI and EIDP, this role offers a hands‑on opportunity to develop high‑value skills in a mission‑critical industry. You’ll direct quality control efforts, lead root cause analysis, and collaborate with internal teams and customers to meet stringent standards.
This role is based in a fast‑paced, on‑site manufacturing environment with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, on a 9/80 work schedule.
Work Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, 9/80 schedule, 100% onsite in Exeter, local applicants only.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering, risk analysis, and inspection techniques
Proficiency with quality control tools such as FAI, source inspection, and metrology methodologies
Demonstrated experience leading internal audits and managing nonconforming product resolution
Strong understanding of customer quality requirements and standards in aerospace and military sectors
Ability to prepare and review compliance documentation and participate in customer quality discussions
