Anesthesiologist Needed ??? Diverse Caseload & Flexible Schedule! We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Sterling, Illinois. This role offers a diverse caseload across multiple specialties, providing a dynamic environment for professional growth and high-quality patient care. Schedule: Initial dates: January 2, 2026, and January 5???9 Future dates: February 9???13, February 16???18, March 2???6, March 9???13 Ongoing commitment: Starting March 16 for 60???90 days, on a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule Work Hours: Rock Island: 7 AM until cases complete (typically 7 AM???3 PM), reduced ORs 3???5 PM and 5???7 PM Moline: 7 AM???3 PM, additional ORs 3???5:30 PM Call Hours: Rock Island 7 AM???7 PM / 7 PM???7 AM; Moline 7 AM???5:30 PM / 5:30 PM???7 AM Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia for General, Orthopedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, and Podiatry surgeries Additional Rock Island cases: Cardiac, Endoscopy, Vascular Additional Moline cases: Gynecology, Pain Management Supervise CRNAs and perform independent cases Participate in limited OR and occasional backup call Qualifications: Cardiac/TEE experience preferred but not required ACLS certification (AHA) required Experience with epidurals, spinals, and blocks EPIC system familiarity advantageous This position provides a supportive team environment, varied caseload, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care.To apply, please call us at 404-400-3373 or email us at recruiter@mdstaff911.com and reference job j-297832.
