Position Title: Maintenance Technician IV (Little Rock)Reports to: Maintenance Manager IIPurpose/Primary FunctionWork in a team environment to support production equipment repairs and upgrades and perform general and preventive maintenance. Design, develop, and implement new products/process equipment, all to ensure a productive and safe work environment. The Maintenance Technician role requires both working knowledge and responsibility for electrical and mechanical maintenance duties.This is a unique opportunity to join the organization at an expansion stage and help build talent and culture from the ground up, as we build Trex’s new location in Little Rock. A high level of accountability and coordination, along with a focus on relationships and willingness to travel regularly to other established locations during the early months of this role will be key components to success.This position is currently a Dayshift Monday through Friday 7 AM - 3 PM Position.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesPromote and practice all aspects of job safety. Always demonstrate Trex cultural values and beliefs.Maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems on-site. Learn to troubleshoot programmable logic controls and understand ladder logic. Responsible for metal fabrication, machining, and welding as required.Support engineering in the improvement of and/or development and implementation of new products and processes.Participation in housekeeping activities to keep up plant appearance and ensure it operates acceptably and safely. Participate in additional duties as required by the department team lead or manager.Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies.Able to lead small team projects creating a cooperative and effective work environment. Cultivates and maintains extensive informal networks.Education/Experiences Required:HS Diploma or GEDProfessional AttitudeAlways demonstrates Trex Cultural Values and BeliefsHigh Mechanical AptitudeAbility to wear required PPE and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Ability to attend offsite training classes periodically (1-2 weeks per year, with proper notice) Welding experience (Arc, Mig, and Tig)Experienced in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.10+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience Preferred:Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or equivalentWelding Certification
