Job DetailsAs a staffing agency partnering with our client in Little Rock, we are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join a high-volume production environment. The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring injection molding equipment and related systems operate safely, efficiently, and consistently to meet daily production goals.The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing technical support across multiple areas of the manufacturing floor, including mold set-up and removal, machine start-up and shutdown, material changeovers, and mold insert changes for various plastic components. This position also supports troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems within the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesStart up and shut down injection molding machines according to established proceduresTroubleshoot injection molding machines to identify and resolve operational issuesAssemble injection molds from start to finish for production runsRemove and install plastic injection molds of varying sizes and complexities based on work order specificationsSet up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal systemsManage raw molding materials at each machine to ensure traceability and prevent contaminationProvide molded components in a timely manner to support production schedulesMaintain detailed set-up records, preventative maintenance logs, and run profilesTroubleshoot and repair electrical (minimum 120v unassisted, up to 480v assisted), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsPerform minor plumbing repairs as neededConduct preventative maintenance on equipment in assigned areasFollow all safety procedures, including proper LOTO practicesComplete additional duties as assigned QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredTwo to five years of manufacturing experience in a semi-skilled role preferredBasic understanding of electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and equipment documentationExperience using CMMS systems, email, and spreadsheet applicationsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-change environmentUnderstanding of measurement methods and tool tolerances
