Assembler

Job Summary Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations and performs testing and calibration of parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet required tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand and power tools to assemble units according to established procedures. Identifies components that fail testing or tolerance requirements and performs repairs as needed. Assemble and test components and finished products in accordance with engineering and product specifications. Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the assigned specialty area. Typically requires 2–4 years of experience in the field or a related area.
