Mobile QA EngineerWe are currently seeking a Mobile QA Engineer to join our team. This role will join the Android and iOS mobile application teams and will be responsible for the design, creation, and execution of manual and automated tests for our mobile applications. A successful candidate will effectively collaborate with software engineers, business product owners, and IT specialists using Agile methodologies to develop high quality software.ResponsibilitiesPerform complex manual and automated white box testing on mobile application distributed.NET/JAVA APIs and the associated Android/iOS mobile applications which use themCreate, maintain, execute & extend manual and automated tests to ensure efficient and sufficient test coverage of mobile applications and their associated APIsTroubleshoot, isolate, and document problems encountered during testingCollaborate with mobile application API developers to help create high value unit testsSupport QA analysts with script creation & execution questions/problemsGenerally help improve mobile application API testing processes, tools, and methodologyEducation and ExperienceBS degree required (or equivalent experience)3-5 years of QA Engineering experienceExperience in an Agile, continuous integration environmentQualifications Required2+ years of experience testing iOS and/or Android mobile applications3+ years' experience with white-box software testingUnderstanding of basic software design patternsHighly collaborative team player with excellent oral and written communication skillsInsightful and logical problem isolation & solving skillsResults driven and goal orientedVery focused & methodical with good time management/multi-tasking skillsAble to independently adapt & thrive through change... but know when to ask for helpExcellent oral & written and interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of Visio for documentationQualifications DesiredDemonstrated skill using code repositories (Git)2+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools (Espresso, XCUI Test, Calabash, MonkeyTalk, UFT, Perfecto Mobile, Appium, etc.)2+ years of experience testing back-end APIs2+ years Object Oriented software development experience (e.g. Java, Swift, Kotlin, C#, Javascript, C/C++)Experience with testing tools such as Charles Proxy, WireMock, etc.
