We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsYou will provide technical quality testing for neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the laboratory setting in compliance with CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA, and CLIA standardsYour thorough understanding and application of the MT practice is essential due to the intense field of critical patient testing. Therefore, you must continuously strive to improve clinical testing through formal and informal educationYou will maintain knowledge of all procedures and protocolsYou will perform required quality control and function verification of equipmentQualifications you will need for this role:ASCP, HEW or AMT required within 6 months of hire. ASCP is the preferred certification. Continued employment will be based on valid certificationHigh school diploma/GED requiredCollege graduate or equivalent who has passed a certification examination for Medical Technologist by ASCP, HEW or AMT or the successful completion of an accredited MLT program, with ASCP Board Certification is also acceptedExperience in a hospital laboratory is desired but not necessaryHCA HealthONE, one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in the Rocky Mountain region, offers more than 170 care sites in the Denver-metro area.
