High End Retail Security Officer (Armed)

SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team, providing exceptional security services for a high-end jewelry store in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong sense of duty, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a visible and commanding presence within the store Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security Monitor security systems and respond to alarms and security breaches Provide courteous and professional customer service to clients and customers Quickly and effectively respond to incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activities Ensure the protection of store assets, employees, and customers Deter criminal activity and prevent losses through effective security measures Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as required Accurately document and report all incidents and activities Enforce company policies, store rules, and regulations KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office Strong observation and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Proficiency in using security equipment and technology EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Extensive experience in armed security and customer service roles minimum 5 years Valid California Firearm Permit and Guard Card Strong observational and situational awareness skills Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations Must wear a suit and tie while on duty Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays if needed Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to receive criminal record clearance as required by licensing regulations. This includes FBI and DOJ clearance. WORK ENVIRONMENT (OR WORK CONDITIONS): Light to moderate lifting is required. Standing for prolonged periods.
