This position supports the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Lab activities.Integrate with the EMC Lab team to support the completion of EMC Testing activitiesWork with lab team to understand the processes of the lab including the quality system, and testingWork with the lab team to improve processes in place for the labAssist in maintaining computer hardware, software and test equipmentLearn the processes of Nexteer Automotive within and outside of the EMC Lab teamRequirements:Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to SaginawCandidate must be pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical or Computer EngineeringCandidate must be able to work 20-32 hours during Fall and Winter semestersUp to 40 in the summerMust have cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scaleMust be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semestersCandidate must have an interest in Electrical Validation, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) or RF fieldsCandidate must have growing knowledge and application of Electrical Engineering principlesCandidate must have strong mathematical and analytic abilityCandidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access, SQL)Candidate must have excellent Communication, Documentation Skills and attention to detailCandidate must have an interest in understanding of typical electrical and EMC bench equipment (Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, EMI Receivers, Power Meters, etc)Candidate must have right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorshipNexteer is an Equal Opportunity Employer Disabled/Minorities/Veterans/WomenNexteer is an E-Verify employer.
