Senior Substation P&C Designer - Remote

b19 has partnered with an established power unit who're looking for a senior substation P&C wiring designer to help execute work within their high-voltage infrastructure & renewable interconnection project portfolio. Position is remote, but preference for candidates based in Central & Eastern time zone for proximity to client locations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and revise detailed Protection & Controls engineering drawings using AutoCAD and similar CAD toolsProduce single-line, three-line, and operational diagramsCreate protection, control, communication, and alarm schematicsGenerate point-to-point wiring diagrams and design documentationCollaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and resolve design discrepanciesManage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standardsPerform quality checks and validate drawing integrity prior to engineering reviewIntegrate bills of materials (BOMs), tables, and technical data into design packagesRequirementsAssociate degree in Design & Drafting Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of substation protection & controls design experience within the utility/renewables sectorsAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD ElectricalProven expertise in interpreting and producing detailed schematics and wiring diagramsStrong understanding of utility standards, substation systems, and industry best practicesExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesIf interested, please apply with an updated resume
