FASTSIGNS Sign Production SpecialistFASTSIGNS #161401 is hiring for a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our team!Benefits/Perks:Competitive PayPaid Vacation and HolidayPerformance BonusOngoing Training OpportunitiesA Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will:Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or mediumPrepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etcWeed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of imagesOperate and maintain printersOperate cutters/rounters and lasersPerform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standardsPerform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed piecesProvide installation of signs when neededReport inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.Clean and maintain storage areasWelding and paint ability are a plusIdeal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist:5-10 years of experience in sign production preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentWorking knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (and Flexi) - have the ability to alter and work with files to set them up for printing and cuttingAbility to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)Ability to lift 50 or more poundsFlexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrateAbility to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality workAbility to use light power equipmentDo you enjoy working with people?
