Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMPay: $20-$28 DOE Contract-to-HireShift: Day ShiftPosition OverviewWe are seeking entry to experienced CNC Machine Operators with strong multi-axis machining experience. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers to produce precision parts that meet quality and efficiency standards.If you have strong blueprint reading skills, experience with tight tolerances, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work — we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC vertical and horizontal machining centersRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheetsLocate and verify X, Y, Z axes accuratelyUse precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators)Perform in-process inspections and quality checksAdjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling as neededTroubleshoot machining issues and make basic program editsReplace tooling and monitor coolant systemsPerform daily machine checks and report maintenance needsFollow all safety policies and PPE requirementsAssist in training junior operators as neededQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 3+ years CNC machining experience on complex multi-axis machinesStrong blueprint reading and GD&T understandingExperience using micrometers, calipers, height gauges & indicatorsBasic math skills (fractions, decimals, conversions)Stable work historyVocational or machining certification preferredCrane or forklift experience a plusPhysical RequirementsStand for extended periodsLift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs (with assistance/equipment)Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and machineryAbility to distinguish colors and read precision gaugesAdditional RequirementsThis is a safety-sensitive positionDue to ITAR regulations, candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person, defined as:U.S. CitizenU.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)Protected Person under ITAR regulationsBenefits:On the Contract-to-Hire program, you will have access to a basic MEC planTruFit Staffing is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other basis prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
