Job Title: Sr. Android DeveloperLocation: Irving, TX Locals ONLYWork Authorization: Independent CandidatesRequired Skills & Qualifications7+ years of experience in native Android developmentStrong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end servicesStrong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesExperience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuningAbility to design applications around natural user interfaces.Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometersKnowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks]Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsEnsure self and peers are actively seeking ways to objectively measure productivity. (i.e., SonarQube Findbugs). This will include a focus on automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD pipeline (RTC, Jenkins, RLM)
