Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Vancouver, WA is seeking a full-time primary teacher for grade 1 who can join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This candidate needs to be proficient and qualified to deliver instruction including Washington State and Common Core English-Language Arts and Mathermatics standards as well as age-appropriate Archdiocesan Religion standards. This teacher will collaborate with the intermediate team, the rest of the school staff as well as the broader school and parish community to ensure that we fulfill the mission of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School (located in Vancouver, Washington), fostering faith-filled students, lifelong learners, and good citizens. We are looking for a team player with positive energy. This candidate must be committed to teaching the Catholic faith and providing all students with an equitable and inclusive education in a community that celebrates its diversity. Applicants should be passionate about Catholic education, interested in working as part of a teaching team (specifically, grades k - 2), be comfortable using educational technology in instruction, able to differentiate instruction, and make regular use of formal and informal assessments as an integral part of curriculum planning and instruction. Candidates need to hold or be working toward a current Washington State teaching certificate endorsed in Elementary Education. Preference will be given to candidates with successful teaching experience.
