Salesforce Developer
Position SummarySeeking a Salesforce Developer to support and enhance a complex Salesforce Government Cloud Plus (FedRAMP) environment. This role is ideal for a mid-level developer who can work effectively in a highly customized Salesforce org, quickly analyze existing functionality, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver secure, scalable enhancements. The developer will also help modernize the platform and improve technical documentation in an environment with limited legacy documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing Apex, Visualforce, Flows, and declarative configuration to understand current system behavior, dependencies, and customization.Apply strong knowledge of Salesforce Order of Execution to troubleshoot and optimize triggers, flows, validation rules, and other automations.Investigate and resolve production issues by reproducing defects, tracing system behavior, and identifying root causes across code, configuration, and integrations.Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components in alignment with Government Cloud Plus security and compliance requirements.Required Qualifications3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and SQL.Strong understanding of Salesforce Order of Execution and how it impacts complex automation.Experience working within highly customized Salesforce environments and analyzing codebases with limited documentation.Hands-on experience troubleshooting issues across Apex, Visualforce, Flows, validation rules, and integrations.Experience with Git/version control and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with Visualforce development across both backend controllers and frontend page design.Experience working in Agile delivery environments.Comfortable supporting client-facing interactions, including demos, issue resolution, and written communication.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus.Salesforce Administrator Certification.Salesforce Platform Developer I or II Certification.Understanding of FedRAMP security requirements and compliance practices.
