For full details on coverage and eligibility, visit the Baylor Scott & White Benefits Hub to explore our offerings, which may include:Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%Tuition ReimbursementPTO accrual beginning Day 1Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level.Essential Job Responsibilities - Workplace Violence Program ManagerProvide centralized leadership and accountability for the Workplace Violence (WPV) prevention and response programServe as the primary owner of WPV strategy, operations, and long?term sustainability across Baylor University Medical CenterEstablish standardized processes, escalation pathways, and governance to ensure consistent execution and accountabilityLead proactive workplace violence prevention through data analysis and risk identificationAnalyze WPV incident reports, near misses, injury data, and security trends to identify patterns, high?risk areas, and contributing factorsDevelop and recommend targeted prevention strategies, policy enhancements, and system improvements based on data findingsStandardize and oversee post?incident debriefing, follow?up, and continuous improvementImplement and lead a consistent, trauma?informed post?incident debriefing process following WPV eventsEnsure timely follow?up, documentation, and closure of incidents to support staff recovery and prevent recurrenceTranslate lessons learned into actionable system improvementsCoordinate education, training, and competency reinforcement related to WPV preventionEnsure consistent onboarding education for staff on WPV recognition, prevention, and response expectationsCoordinate ongoing education in de?escalation techniques, trauma?informed care, situational awareness, and personal safetyServe as Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) program leadFunction as CPI trainer, evaluator, and program coordinatorEnsure consistent delivery, competency validation, and sustainability of CPI training across the organizationEvaluate training effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on incident trendsProvide structured support and advocacy for staff impacted by workplace violenceServe as a central liaison to ensure staff receive timely physical, psychological, and emotional support following WPV incidentsCoordinate access to Employee Health, Behavioral Health, Risk Management, and other support resourcesPromote a culture of psychological safety and staff trust in organizational responseFacilitate multidisciplinary collaboration to prevent escalation and improve responsePartner with Nursing, Security, Behavioral Health, Violence Management Services (VMS), and Baylor Police Department (BPD)Support coordinated planning, response, and review of WPV events to strengthen early intervention and preventionBelonging StatementWe believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION - Masters' or Bachelors plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualificationEXPERIENCE - 5 Years of ExperienceRN preferredJ-18808-Ljbffr
