As a Manager in Training, you will work closely with our General Managers and leadership teams to gain hands-on experience in daily operations, customer service, food safety, team development, and overall restaurant management.At Village Baker, we take pride in creating a supportive, family-oriented environment where our team members can learn, grow, and succeed.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do:Train in all areas of restaurant operationsLearn shift leadership, labor management, and team developmentAssist with opening and closing proceduresSupport daily customer service and help create a positive guest experienceLearn inventory management, ordering, and cost controlsHelp maintain food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standardsWork alongside General Managers and experienced leadership teamsStep in where needed to support store operations and leadership coverageBuild the skills needed for future management opportunitiesQualificationsWhat We're Looking For:Positive attitude and strong work ethicNatural leadership ability and willingness to learnDependable, flexible, and team-orientedStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentReliable transportationAbility to travel between locations during trainingRestaurant or leadership experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right personAdditional InformationTraining & Flexibility:This is a hands-on leadership development role. During training, candidates may be scheduled to work at multiple Village Baker locations depending on business needs, staffing support, and training opportunities.
