Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Manager for a hybrid (3 days onsite) position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and deploying software releases across various platforms and products. The successful candidate will work closely with development, quality assurance, project management, DevOps, and business operations teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of defined deliverables without disruption to business operations.Responsibilities:Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, effectively communicating release objectives based on scopeOrganize and facilitate milestones, task lists, defect, and retrospective callsCollaborate with development, QA, and operation teams to plan release activities and deployment scopeWork with delivery leads to ensure release artifacts adhere to company standardsCoordinate delivery while managing risks and mitigating potential impact to upstream and downstream systemsProvide end-to-end visibility to the health of deliverablesEnsure execution and delivery meets expectations in terms of quality and timelinesFacilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable deliveryRequirements:Experience in a Release Manager or Change Manager roleProficiency with Agile tools such as JiraExperience with BMC Remedy or ServiceNowKnowledge of release management tools such as CutOver or XLR trackerDesired skills:Understand release and deployment componentsUnderstand risks and can implement controls necessary to mitigateAbility to facilitate team planning ceremonies against release milestonesAbility to answer team questions on Agile/waterfall frameworksAbility to understand the big picture and connect all detailsFamiliarity with tools such as Vanguard, PPRT Tool, JIRA Issue Collector, App HQ, TechADS, Teams, or MatterMostOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
