ACIBuilds.comSummary/Objective:We are seeking a highly driven Modular Project Manager to lead the execution of complex modular construction projects from award through final delivery. This role is responsible for integrating design, VDC/BIM coordination, fabrication, financial performance, and customer engagement into a single, cohesive execution strategy.The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of technical expertise, financial acumen, operational awareness, and the ability to confidently lead both internal teams and external clients.Essential Functions:Project Execution & Leadership:Lead projects from award through fabrication, delivery, and closeoutDevelop and execute project plans, schedules, and milestonesAlign engineering, VDC/BIM, procurement, and fabrication teamsDesign & VDC/BIM CoordinationGuide design development to support modularization and constructabilityLead coordination efforts between engineering and VDC/BIM teamsEnsure models and drawings are fabrication-readyFinancial OwnershipUnderstand and break down project estimates into execution budgetsManage cost tracking, forecasting, and margin performanceIdentify risks and implement corrective actionsScheduling & Production PlanningDevelop integrated project and fabrication schedulesCoordinate material releases and shop workflowsEnsure alignment between production and project timelinesManpower & Resource Planning* Forecast labor needs and production loading* Optimize resource allocation across projectsKPI & Performance Management* Track key metrics including productivity, schedule, cost, and quality* Use data to drive decisions and continuous improvementCustomer InterfaceServe as the primary point of contact for clientsLead meetings, communicate progress, and manage expectationsBuild strong, long-term customer relationshipsQualificationsExperience in modular construction, fabrication, or industrial project managementStrong understanding of VDC/BIM coordination and design processesProven ability to manage project financials and forecastingExperience with scheduling and production planningExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, highly coordinated environmentWork Environment:May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampnessMay work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levelsMay be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dustMay be required to work in confined spaces or from high heightsPhysical Demands:This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power toolsWhile performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.Frequently it is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and armsMust be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focusTravel:* May require travelPreferred:7+ years of project management experience in construction, fabrication, or industrial projectsDemonstrated experience managing project financials (cost, forecasting, margin)Experience coordinating across design, fabrication, and/or field executionStrong communication and customer-facing experienceFluent with computer use and software navigation of various kinds to include but not limited to Excel, Microsoft office, Procore.PMP CertificationPrior military experienceVisit us at www.acibuilds.com for more information!Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer* -Modular Project Manager
