Job Title: Project Manager IVLocation: Richmond, VA (On-Site)Duration: 03+Months(with high possibility of extension).Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Provide leadership to project team including design engineering, project engineering, supply chain representative, and assigned workshop team membersManage scope of work, schedule, budget, and resources to achieve on-time delivery and target gross marginPro-actively take measures to avoid or prevent events that might adversely impact project schedule or budgetMaintain an accurate forecast of revenue and cost throughout entire projectAct as liaison between supply chain representative and vendors to ensure required materials and services are delivered on time to support project scheduleMaintain effective communication between commercial stakeholders, solutions experts, and workshop teamUnderstand and assume post sale responsibilities for all commercial aspects of assigned projects include proposal, cost estimates, and purchase order or contractManage all aspects of assigned projects, including establishment of budget, procurement of material, planning, scheduling, and executionResponsible for making sure employee safety and quality are the top priorities while executing project deliverablesUse some level of judgment and have ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Have access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or relevant experience in Project ManagementMinimum of 3 years experience in Materials Planning / Execution and/or Project ManagementDesired CharacteristicsBachelor's of Science degreeProject Manager ExperiencePMP Certification (Project Management Professional)Current or Previous manufacturing experienceExperience reading blueprints, procedures and specificationsUnderstanding project planning, working with shop schedulesDetail orientedAbility to thrive in fast-paced environmentAbility to work with sales, engineering, supply chain, shop floor and customersCustomer oriented, both internally and externallyComputer-literate and competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS ProjectExperience in rotating power generation equipment and power plantsBasic knowledge of finances and experience managing budgetsAbility to work effectively at multiple levels within the organizationExperience in managing complex technical projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to influence and lead project team
