Assistant/Associate/Professor in Mathematical Sciences

Job Description:The Department of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is seeking a mathematical scientist with expertise in applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to bioinformatics data analyses for an open rank tenure/tenure-track faculty position. Successful candidates are expected to develop productive research programs, mentor and teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate research projects and direct Ph.D. dissertations in computational or data science. Candidates with experience in industry and/or applied interdisciplinary research projects are encouraged to apply.
